Currently I ride on my own so if I fall off it's super secret ;) Sometimes if I'm sad enough about it my husband will take me for dinner, although I'd be happy with cake or donuts lolThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05438372155463437107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-45546778416746188952015-01-10T08:05:40.602-05:002015-01-10T08:05:40.602-05:00At the track, it's a case of beer, usually som...At the track, it's a case of beer, usually something cheap and watery like Keystone or Hamm's (we're classy like that). I'd prefer wine, but I don't think anyone does that at the dressage barn.Jodihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16560432669562291616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-87777334370952957872015-01-09T23:39:20.113-05:002015-01-09T23:39:20.113-05:00Wine!Wine!Boss Mare Eventinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08039910692009593158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-52698166550476783802015-01-09T16:30:51.200-05:002015-01-09T16:30:51.200-05:00donuts!!!! this is the first time i've been at...donuts!!!! this is the first time i've been at a barn with this rule - but having watched a couple kids get dumped, start crying, and then wipe their tears away while giggling about donuts next week, i can see the merit.

and yes - they do actually bring them in! and when someone walks into the tack room and see the donuts, first words are 'oooh who fell off!!?!' lolemmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-28137399625417246392015-01-09T16:17:13.448-05:002015-01-09T16:17:13.448-05:00I've never been at a barn where you bring some...I've never been at a barn where you bring something when you fall off! This is probably because I've never had a barn where I took lessons. (As a kid, my horses lived at my house and my instructors usually came to me.) I wish we'd had a fun thing like that in Pony Club for mounted meetings!

The trainer at the barn where I board has joked with kids about bringing cupcakes when they fall, but no one takes it seriously. I think maybe it's time to get harsh on those kiddos!Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07140631127593549541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-62833457087590925332015-01-09T14:52:17.381-05:002015-01-09T14:52:17.381-05:00Ooo I love the chocolate cake idea!Ooo I love the chocolate cake idea!Lauren @ She Moved To Texashttp://www.shemovedtotexas.comnoreply@blogger.com
