It would not have worked in my old trailer because it would have spun around too easily. It really wants to be against a wall or a pole to work best - so for a slant load or any kind of trailer where you can rig this to be up against something, I bet it would be great. It would not be big enough to share between two horses, though.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16071037752920853786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-55671481773326479972016-10-01T12:56:44.109-04:002016-10-01T12:56:44.109-04:00I played around a little bit last night and I can ...I played around a little bit last night and I can confidently say that it will hold 4 flakes. It could probably go up to 6 if you really stuffed them in there or if they were smaller. So, potentially half a bale depending on bale size. It won't all go in at once; you'd have to do two flakes and then two flakes as a stack within it. (It's not flexible in the same way that the nets are.)Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16071037752920853786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-1770823774965541952016-10-01T08:46:20.125-04:002016-10-01T08:46:20.125-04:00I love these style nets!I love these style nets!emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-33997162435851885882016-09-30T22:35:47.632-04:002016-09-30T22:35:47.632-04:00Good to know! I use the SmartPak small hole net because Bobby gets about half a bale all loaded at once for his evening hay, and it fills that bag out completely. It is, however, already starting to show some signs of abuse. I'd love something more durable, but I'd hate to have to ask barn workers to refill a net multiple times.Carlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17308477892024999793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751398798342994168.post-78823950754131171232016-09-30T12:07:48.401-04:002016-09-30T12:07:48.401-04:00There is a local store near me that sells an Amish...There is a local store near me that sells an Amish made version of these hay bags, I love them for stall and trailer!Christa R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/18271874514886682097noreply@blogger.com
